We place our spent grains right outside our brewery garage doors after each brew day. This has the effect of creating a 1 ton bird feeder in the lot until Blues Creek Farms arrives for pickup late in the afternoon. During the brew day of the inaugural batch of this BIPA a sparrow got confused and ended up trapped in one part or another of the brewery for the afternoon…It seemed like a sign, so we give you the dark as midnight and bracingly bitter yet smooth Lost Sparrow black IPA with notes of lemon and orange rind from extensive dry hopping with Sorachi Ace.
