An old man rises early. The floor creaks beneath his weathered feet as he gingerly creeps down the steps, trying not to wake Ruth. Abraham doesn’t usually get up before 7 am, but today is no normal day. Today is harvest day. Every year since 1952 Abe has made the 2 mile trek to harvest his hops, but this is the first year he has used it for anything other than his own home brew. This year his hops are heading straight to Elevator Brewing in Columbus, Oh. Upon deliver they are thrown into the bright tank and the aroma and zest captured for the drinkers delight.
