Hoof Hearted & Burial Dancin’ In the Ruins

A new collaboration between Hoof Hearted Brewing and Burial Beer Co. is inspired by a traditional Mexican drink.

Dancin’ in the Ruins is a 4 percent ABV blonde ale brewed with malted barley from Cleveland, Ohio-based Haus Malts, flaked rice and lactose before being conditioned on “decadent amounts” of Mexican vanilla beans and Saigon cinnamon. The new beer was brewed in collaboration with Asheville, N.C.-based Burial Beer Co. and is modeled after the Mexican version of the horchata drink, a traditional beverage typically made with cinnamon, rice, sugar and vanilla.
