Brewed Every Spring for Jackie O’s St. Patrick’s Day party, Prouty’s Irish Red is a high gravity take on an Irish beer style. The aroma is filled with delicious nutty caramel character. The bitterness is not overwhelming but helps balance out the abundance of caramel malts. The flavor is malt driven with some great spicy hop notes and soft fruitiness from our house yeast. Flaked Oats and White Wheat add a smooth mouth feel and a dense tight head.
