A re-creation of the famous Courage 1914 imperial stout recipe from Barclay Perkins, as faithfully as we could possibly make it. Crisp Chevalier pale malt, brown malt, and black malt. Fuggle & Hersbrucker hops. English ale yeast. Dry-hopped with Fuggle.
A bold stout with bitter and roasty edges…none of this thicc sweet pastry stout stuff y’all drink nowadays. This may put hair on your chest and should age extremely gracefully.
