Southern Tier I-90 Sour Cherry Gose

The I-90 is the longest interstate highway in the USA at over 3100 miles, spanning 13 states. This ribbon of road is the fastest connection between Cuyahoga County and Chautauqua County, making it as easy for us to see The Tribe as it is for you to visit our brewery. As a tribute to the iconic roadway, we present to you a Special Ale brewed exclusively for our neighbors to the west. Cheers to Cleveland Beer Week!

This year’s I-90 Special Ale is an extra special one. We’ve been experimenting with sour beers and we’re proud to share this, our 3rd Kettle Sour made with ingredients from local farmers and local maltsters. This Cherry Gose is made in a traditional style which includes coriander and salt. The wort aimed for a 5.0% ABV, but since it’s fermenting on local cherries, the fermentable sugars took it up to 6.5% ABV.

This brew will be packaged just before beer week and it’ll make its pilgrim voyage west on I-90 just in time for Cleveland Beer Week. We’ll see you soon with this fresh brew, Cleveland.
