Hop Notch is a new beer for Uinta. If you’re not a craft beer connoisseur, you may not know that an IPA (India Pale Ale) usually has a strong bitter flavor as a result of the large amount of hops used. The more hops the better, so the name ‘Hop Notch’ combines this love of hops with the vintage slang ‘Top Notch’ to communicate that this a first-rate beer with first-rate hops. For Tenfold, this conjured images of vintage fruit crate art from the early 20th century and inspired the oversized hops as they are unloaded by depression-era farmers.
